Gather essential details including your organization’s name, EIN, contact info, mission statement, and project timeline. Ensure your nonprofit or faith-based status is verified.

Download the form from our website or fill it out online. Provide clear, accurate information about your organization and the project you seek funding for.

Submit and Track Your Request

Larger grant requests may take additional time for careful review, with a processing period of approximately 4 to 6 weeks. An on-site visit may also be requested to help us better understand your organization’s mission and community impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who is eligible to apply for funding?

    Only registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and faith-based groups affiliated with churches qualify. Applications from individuals or unregistered entities are not accepted.
  • What documents are required for the application?

    Applicants must provide their organization’s legal name, EIN number, contact information, mission statement, years in operation, and project details. Affiliated parent organization information is also necessary if applicable.
  • On-Site Visit

    Notice: Please be advised that applicants may be required to participate in an on-site visit. This visit allows the Spirit & Truth Benevolent Fund team to gain a better understanding of your organization’s mission, operations, and community impact before final funding approval.

  • When will applicants be notified about funding decisions?

    Notifications: Larger grant requests may take additional time for careful review, with a processing period of approximately 4 to 6 weeks. An on-site visit may also be requested to help us better understand your organization’s mission and community impact.

  • Budget and Financial Plan Requirement

    All applicants are required to submit a written financial plan outlining how the requested funds will be used. Before completing your plan, please select one of the four timeframes that best fits your project or program needs. The available timeframes are: Monthly, 6 Months, 1 Year, and Recurring.


    Your financial plan must include a detailed budget breakdown according to the selected timeframe. Clearly explain how the funds will be allocated and how they will help sustain your organization’s mission, ongoing programs, and overall community impact. Each section of your budget should reflect responsible stewardship and demonstrate how the requested support will contribute to long-term success and measurable outcomes.
